Preheat your grill or cast-iron skillet to high heat.
Pat the steaks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Place the steaks on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the time to your desired doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, add minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, and butter to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter and herbs over the steaks to baste them.
Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
